Sometimes the best way to get someone’s attention is to write a catchy tune and then make a video.
Happy Revolution is a musical group comprised of four 9th graders in coastal Maine– Lucy Jakub, Imogen Page, Max Hurvitt & Lorna Stephens. Like many kids, Lucy is concerned about climate change and frustrated that adults won’t take it seriously, so she wrote Save My Polar Bear Please in the early spring of 2009. Happy Revolution performed it at their 8th grade graduation to a sell out crowd.
Beeswax Productions–Shelley Latham and Kenton Jakub– liked the song so much, they decided to make a video of it, to see if they could help spread the word that we all must act now to preserve our planet for future generations.
